Chocolate Easter Egg Nest Cakes

We’ve been making chocolate egg nests ready for the Easter holiday weekend. The recipe is super simple and they are tasty treats for kids (and adults!)

Easter Nests

Ingredients

Makes 12

225g Plain Chocolate

4 Pillows of Shredded Wheat

Bag of Mini Eggs

Paper Cupcake Cases

Method

1. Start by breaking your chocolate into a microwavable bowl or saucepan. Melt the chocolate fully and stir every few minutes to totally break the pieces.

2. Shred the wheat with your hands and gently stir into the melted chocolate.

3. Line a plate with your paper cases and divide the mixture between them. Press 3 eggs into the nests and leave to cool in the fridge for an hour or until they have completely set.

And there you have it! Cheap/simple but yummy Easter treats!
