International Women's Day 2025

On March 8th 2025, it will be International Women's Day. This day celebrates women's achievements and gives focus to the issues that affect women cross the world. The theme for IWD 2025 is 'Accelerate Action'. This is a call to encourage people to make steps to achieve gender equality. Here are some ways that 'Accelerate Action' applies to Gisela Graham Limited:

Gisela Graham has accelerated action in the workplace simply by being a female founder and CEO of a business. Although she started with only a borrowed £27 and worked from her kitchen table, Gisela has shown that hard work and dedication pays off. She is now a leading Christmas designer specialist, supplying products to over 2,500 customers worldwide.

Gisela has also accelerated action through her female-dominated workforce. Over 80% of her staff are women and most of them have been in the company for over 20 years!

 

Gisela has also accelerated action by giving shares in the Company to about 16 of the staff – almost all women – due to their contributions in building the company. Their recognition does not go unnoticed!
