Vintage Christmas Tree Decorations | Old Time Christmas

Gisela Graham wanted to revive the way decorations used to be in great-grandmother’s time, with her ‘Old Time Christmas’ collection. It meant scouring attics, auctions, museum collections and even the odd flea market for inspiration. For the collection, she enlisted the help of the talented Austrian illustrator Silke Leffler – whose brief was to imagine how an Old Time Santa would cope with his Old Time Christmas correspondence. The result? Beautifully designed vintage Christmas tree decorations featuring Santa Claus, turtledoves and tin soldiers.
